About the Project

This conference is part of the research project “Collective Agency: Towards A Three-Part Philosophical Theory” (No. S-MIP-25-108), funded by the Lithuanian Research Council. The project’s ambition is to respond to ongoing debates in analytic philosophy on collective agency by introducing and synthesizing sources from classical and continental philosophy (including personalist thought, political theory and phenomenology, and Platonic/Aristotelian ideas). The aim is to develop a comprehensive ontological and epistemological account of collective agency integrating three levels of relational personhood, shared activities, and group minds. This conference is organized in conjunction with the project’s research, with the aim of engaging a broad community of scholars in examining and testing these ideas in dialogue with one another.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts and hope you will join us in Vilnius to explore collective agency from new and diverse perspectives. Please feel free to circulate this Call for Papers to interested colleagues. For any inquiries, contact the organizers at the emails above.
